Do you offer an early check in or late check out?Unfortunately we cannot always accommodate early check ins or late check outs due to the busy schedule and high standards of our changeover team, but feel free to ask. f you are very keen to extend your stay, it’s always worth checking the dates and prices as an extra day may not add much to the total price.
-
What is included in the rental price? Our properties are extremely well equipped with (almost) everything you’ll need. We will always provide high quality robes and towels as well as a few kitchen essentials such as tea, coffee, milk, sugar and cleaning products.
-
Do your properties have accessible rooms? All our properties have ground floor bedrooms. If you have any specific accessibility enquiries get in touch at hello@placetobehomestays.com.
-
Can we book in house catering or other services? We’d love to help make your stay as relaxing and stress free as possible and have contacts with local chefs who can provide catering upon request. Please email us with any specific requirements at hello@placetobehomestays.com.
-
Can we bring pets? With plenty of space and endless walks on your doorstep, our properties are ideal for pets. Each property can accommodate up to two well behaved pets, but we do ask that you keep the pets off the furniture and remind guests that they are responsible for any damage caused by their pet.
-
What is your cancelation policy? If for whatever reason you cannot stay please let us know as soon as possible by contacting us at hello@placetobehomestays.com. For our full cancellation policy, please refer to our terms and conditions.
-
Do I need to take out holiday insurance? We do not require you to take out holiday insurance, however we strongly advise you do to cover any costs that may not be reimbursed under our cancellation policy.
-
Why can’t I book a shorter break at peak times?Unfortunately due to high demand, our properties are only available for 7 day bookings at peak times as most groups prefer longer bookings during these periods. 3 and 4 day bookings are available during the rest of the year.
-
What is a good housekeeping bond?A good housekeeping bond is an agreement to allow up to £2000 to be taken from the card used to authorise the booking in the event of any loss or damage to the property or its contents during your stay. We have put much time and effort into renovating and furnishing the properties, so it is essential that we ask for this extra level of reassurance You can, however, rest assured that we very rarely have to take anything from the good housekeeping bond and wouldn’t seek compensation for smaller matters such as broken glass. Please always let us know as soon as possible if anything is lost broken so we fix or replace it.
